Requirements:

• Certification: Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Iowa
• Communication Skills: Effective written and spoken English
• Compassionate Care: Genuine concern for the well-being of residents

Key Responsibilities:

• Resident Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Supportive Role: Aid the nursing staff in monitoring resident conditions and providing necessary care
• Quality Assurance: Maintain standards of care, manage emergency situations, and ensure confidentiality
• Professionalism: Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and a cooperative attitude in all interactions

Physical and Emotional Requirements:

• Engage in medium to heavy physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs. alone and supporting over 100 lbs. with assistance
• Maintain balance and mobility to perform various caregiving tasks
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, even in emotionally charged situations

• Use protective equipment and follow safety protocols to minimize risk of exposure to infections and hazards
