The Housekeeping Assistant performs scheduled housekeeping duties under the on-site supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, with the purpose of maintaining the facility, furniture, and equipment in clean and serviceable condition.  Functions within strictly defined practices with little latitude for variation or change.Training/Education/Licensure/Skills or Proficiency Requirements:Functional literacy in written and spoken English.General Functions:Accepts assigned duties, instructions, or correction in a cooperative manner, voicing concerns or disagreement in a professional manner through established chain of command.Assumes accountability for compliance with Federal, State and other regulations within scope of control and of which informed.Observes safety hazards and emergency situations, and reports to appropriate person or takes corrective action according to establish procedures, works safely without danger to self or others.Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality, complies with attendance policies.Assumes accountability for information in personnel policies.Reports for work with clean, neat uniform and personal appearance, consistently presents a professional image.Maintains confidentiality of resident, employee and facility information.Participates in in-service training programs and completes assignments and return demonstrations as required.Assume accountability for using, maintaining and storing facility property according to established policy.Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Job Functions:Performs general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, window washing, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning upholstery, cleaning light fixtures, and cleaning bathroom fixtures.Performs floor care such as dust-mopping, wet-mopping, spot-mopping, stripping, sealing, waxing, and buffing.Empties trash containers, replaces liners as appropriate and disposes of trash in proper receptacles, observing infectious and biohazard waste disposal procedures as appropriate.Fills soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers.  Dispenses tissue and other supplies to resident rooms and general use areas.Practices infection control, universal precautions, and other preventive and protective safety procedures as instructed.Uses equipment according to instructions and while observing proper precautions; reports any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.Uses chemicals and supplies according to instructions and with proper protective equipment; reports any problems with chemicals and supplies to the supervisor immediately.Reports repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate.Other housekeeping or support services or projects as assigned by supervisor.Will be trained in Laundry also.

Rotary Senior Living is seeking dedicated, resourceful leaders to join our Team.The charge nurse directs and supervises the provision of resident care services on a specific shift and/or unit. The charge nurse provides appropriate supervision to the nursing staff with responsibility and accountability for the assurance of quality services and nursing care, compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and laws, and adherence to facility policies and procedures on the shift or unit. The charge nurse will perform direct nursing services to residents, as identified in the individual plans of care and physician orders. Technical and professional assistance and guidance, as well as quality monitoring will be available and provided by the administrator, director of nursing, medical director and consultants. Takes follow-up action as necessary.Observes, evaluates, and documents resident condition or changes in resident condition.Documents resident care provided and resident’s response or lack of response to care provided.Identifies resident problems and emergency situations and initiates immediate measures as appropriate to the situation.Administers and documents medications, enteral/parenteral nutrition, treatment as prescribed by the physician, administers PRN medications and treatments.Counts narcotics and follows emergency kit procedures.Accurately performs and documents comprehensive assessments, or parts of the comprehensive assessments, as assigned.Implements admission/transfer/discharge procedures, coordinates with other departments, physicians, and ancillary service providers, documents in accord with facility policy and regulations.Follows established standards of nursing practice and performs nursing skills knowledgeably and competently.Supervises delivery of meals/proper diet, distribution of nourishment, application of postural supports and restraints.Assists nursing assistants with resident care as necessary and required by circumstances.Accepts responsibility for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.Receives, investigates and resolves or reports to higher authority concerns from residents/families in accordance with positive customer relations principles. Listens to resident, family or physician concerns and initiates corrective action as necessary.Participates in information exchange with staff of preceding and following shifts to assure continuity of care. Supervision and Direction of Required ServicesAssumes responsibility for unit or shift compliance with facility policy and procedure, rules, regulations and standards of practice.
