The charge nurse directs and supervises the provision of resident care services on a specific shift and/or unit. The charge nurse will perform direct nursing services to residents, as identified in the individual plans of care and physician orders. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team.Job Description: We are looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to oversee the general upkeep and repair needs of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in plumbing or HVAC systems and a commitment to ensuring a safe and functional environment for our residents and staff.Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems.
  • Address plumbing issues, HVAC system maintenance, electrical repairs, and other facility-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and resolve maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
  • Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workshop and inventory of supplies and tools.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
  • Strong background in plumbing or HVAC systems is encouraged.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, and general repair work.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
