We are looking for a dependable, strong leader with Laundry/Housekeeping Management experience to join our team!

The Housekeeping-Laundry Supervisor directs scheduled housekeeping and laundry duties under the on-site supervision of the Facility Manager, with the purpose of maintaining the facility, furniture, and equipment in clean and serviceable condition.  Functions within the constraints of policy and procedure consistent with accepted standards of institutional housekeeping.

Literacy in written and spoken English

Knowledge of housekeeping practices and standards for institutions

Effective skills in communication and supervision.

Compliance with vaccination requirements

Background & Drug Screening clearance

What you will be doing

Accepts assigned duties, instructions, or correction in a cooperative manner, voicing concerns or disagreement in a professional manner through established chain of command.

Assumes accountability for compliance with Federal, State and other regulations within scope of control and of which informed.

Observes safety hazards and emergency situations, and reports to appropriate person or takes corrective action according to establish procedures, works safely without danger to self or others.

Interprets and explains policies and procedures to subordinates.

Monitors staff for performance of duties, adherence to policies and procedures, and for occupational safety procedure compliance.

Develops and implements housekeeping and laundry procedures consistent with regulations and standards of institutional housekeeping.
