  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery of care for residents during the evening shift.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and assess residents’ health conditions and document changes accurately.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide leadership and support to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff.
  • Ensure adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care plans and health status.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
  • Participate in shift change reports and contribute to team meetings.
Qualifications:

Role Overview:As a Charge Nurse, you will lead and oversee resident care services during specific shifts or units. Support and guidance will be available from the administrator, director of nursing, medical director, and consultants. You will operate under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing.Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:General Functions:
  • Serve as an in-house expert on nursing standards, regulations, and ethics.
